Instructions for Installing the Fatemi Font
|
- Download the above font
to your DESKTOP.
Right-click on Fatemi5.zip
and
extract the file. - After the download is complete, click on START
menu, select SETTINGS, then
select
CONTROL PANEL.
- Double-click the FONTS
icon.
- Click on FILE menu, then
select the INSTALL NEW FONT
option.
- In the FOLDERS box, navigate to
c:\windows\desktop and then select the
'Fatemi5.TTF' listed
in the LIST OF FONTS
box.
- Click OK.

- Click on START menu,
select SETTINGS, then select
CONTROL PANEL.
- Double-click the
REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE
OPTIONS icon.
- On the LANGUAGES tab
under SUPPLEMENTAL LANGUAGE
SUPPORT, check the box next
to INSTALL FILES FOR COMPLEX
SCRIPT AND RIGTH-TO-LEFT
LANGUAGES.
- On the same tab as
above, click on the DETAILS
button.
- On the new window, click
on the ADD button under
INSTALLED SERVICES.
- On the pop-up window,
select ARABIC (SAUDI ARABIA)
from the drop-down menu
under
INPUT LANGUAGE
- Click OK
- On the TEXT SERVICES AND
INPUT LANGUAGES window,
click APPLY and then OK
- On the REGIONAL AND
LANGUAGE OPTIONS window,
click APPLY and then OK
- Once you have completed
the above steps, launch MS
Word and test your text by
selecting
AlFatemi[LSD]Ver5. You
will need
to toggle between English
and Arabic Language from the
language bar on your taskbar. language bar on your taskbar.

Please Note:
You will be prompted to insert the Windows
CD-ROM or point to a network location where the
files are located. After the files are
installed,
you must restart your computer.
