Madrasah Rules and
Regulations
To ensure
that a healthy intellectual
environment is maintained and
children’s time at Madrasah is spent
productively, the Madrasah
Administration has laid down the
following rules and regulations for
children to abide by. Parents please
read the regulations and explain
them to your children.
Before
coming to Madrasah:
• Children must
come to Madrasah in Libas-ul-Anwar.
Boys must wear Topi,
Kurto, Sayo and
Izaar (susi is fine). Pants
are not allowed. Girls must wear
Jhabla izzar.
•
Children, 3th grade and above, MUST
do wuzu before coming to Madrasah
and remain in wuzu throughout the
Madrasah period.
• Children
must bring a Masallah…clean and
neatly folded—for Namaaz
• Children
must carry at least 2 SHARPENED
pencils and an eraser to
Madrasah.
• Children
must carry their textbooks and
notebooks/workbooks for Madrasah.
Without these it would be pointless
to show up.
• Make sure
that children are dressed neatly,
their nails are tidy and clipped;
their hair is neatly tied (for
girls, no loose hair; MUST be tied)
or neatly
groomed (for boys, such
that they are contained in the Topi).
• Fill in
the Malaf regularly. Please
ask the class teacher for
assistance, if
needed.
• If you
need to pick up your child earlier
than the scheduled time, you MUST
provide a written note to the head moallim in advance.
• Madrasah
will start at 9:00am sharp. Children
are expected to reach
Madrasah at
least 5 mins before time.
While in Madrasah:
• Children are expected to place
their shoes properly on the shoe
rack when
entering the Markaz.
• In
winter, children are expected to
hang their coats/jackets at the
entrance
of the Markaz.
• A
Madrasah khidmat guzaar will be at
hand to assist. Coats/jackets will
NOT
be allowed in the class.
• Children
can wear a sweater throughout the
Madrasah, if they are cold in the
Markaz.
• During bio breaks, children
MUST wear a chakdi or flip-flop to
the bathroom.
No one should go
bare-footed.
Parents may not enter the Markaz
prior to 2:30PM. If you are a few
minutes early, please wait outside.
If picking up your child early from
class, please wait for a volunteer
to help you. Please do not enter the
Madrasah area.
The Madrasah Administration hopes
and expects that the above rules
will be adhered to so that order,
discipline and professionalism are
maintained in the Madrasah.
