2023 Table Tennis Tournament

On 3rd December, Umoor Sehat hosted the first inaugural 2023 Mississauga Table Tennis Tournament. 100 players from Mississauga and Toronto formed 50 doubles-teams, playing 5+ games each to covet the prized championship trophy. Thank you to the organizers, the players, the sponsors and the many fans who made the event a success.

Congratulations to the winners, Dr. Aziz bhai Khambati and Aashiq bhai Cash, the runners-up, father-son duo Mustafa bhai and Taher bhai Khetty, and third-place contestants Aliakbar Rangwala &
Mohammad bhai Gooni (from Toronto Jamaat) on their masterful performances.

Eid Toy Drive

Ramadan is the month of giving and how better to increase your good deeds than to give to vulnerable children?

This year, Mississauga Jamaat worked in collaboration with Nisa Homes to share the love and give the gift of joy on Eid. Unfortunately, many children within Canada are left homeless and we plan on spreading some Eid love by collecting toys for these vulnerable children.

This Ramadan we came together as a community and donated toys whole-heartedly towards making Eid joyous for vulnerable children in the broader community.

Souk Al Sabt

The 1st ever Souk Al Sabt was held at Mississauga masjid on 26-Feb from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

More than 15 mumineen businesses setup their booth to promote and sell their products, ranging from food and clothes to craft and home-use items.

Event also included a magic show, which was thoroughly enjoyed by children as well as adjults.

A Table tennis tournament was also held in which mumineen of all ages and of different level of skills competed against each other.

The event was very successful and received alot of praise and appreciation from visitors as well as participants.

Al Tijaarat Al Raabehah organized a workshop "Pathways to Business" for mumineen who are looking to explore business opportunities or who are looking to take their business to the next level.
